Summary
My current research leverages multi-omics and integrative statistics to improve our understanding of immune modulation of cardiovascular diseases, with specific expertise in heart failure and immunosenescence related to HIV and aging. I am particularly passionate about closing the comorbidity-free life expectancy gap between persons living with and without HIV, to which end I collaborate within major cohort studies such as the MACS/WIHS Combined Cohort Study and smaller clinical studies both nationally and internationally. My work also involves close and ongoing collaborations within the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis.
