Summary

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota with expertise in cancer biology, molecular toxicology, exposure science, analytical chemistry, and mass spectrometry. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Rennes 1 in France, where my research focused on cancer biology and the molecular mechanisms underlying chemical carcinogenesis. I then joined the University of Minnesota for my postdoctoral training and continued my research in the Turesky Laboratory, where I developed expertise in carcinogen metabolism, DNA damage, and mass spectrometry-based biomarker discovery.

My current research bridges cancer biology and environmental health by investigating how dietary and environmental exposures contribute to DNA damage and cancer development. I use advanced mass spectrometry-based approaches, including DNA adductomics and metabolomics, to characterize human exposures, identify biomarkers of exposure and biological effect, and better understand mechanisms linking environmental factors to disease. My teaching interests include environmental health, toxicology, cancer biology, exposure science, and the application of mass spectrometry and omics technologies to understanding the impact of environmental exposures on human health.

Expertise

Environmental exposures, exposure science, chemical carcinogenesis, cancer biology, DNA damage, DNA adductomics, exposomics, mass spectrometry, metabolomics, carcinogen metabolism, dietary carcinogens, analytical chemistry, biomarkers.
