Summary
I spent the early part of my career in health care delivery system management in two academic health systems and an integrated delivery system, followed by healthcare management consulting. My research areas include chronic care management teams, end of life care, care coordination mechanisms, ACOs, organization change implementation, and performance measurement systems. I am particularly interested in health care reform and its effects on strategic decision-making in health care organizations, effectiveness of implementation of team-based innovative approaches to health care delivery, and effects of performance measurement systems on providers and clinical teams.
