Summary
Motivated by the intricate structures of large-scale, high-dimensional data, my statistical research revolves around advancing Functional Data Analysis methods and creating reproducible software to support them. One direction of my research is to assess the impact of objectively measured physical activity collected from wearable devices on aging, disease progression, and mortality. Additionally, I work collaboratively with domain-specific experts on all stages of the analytic pipeline, and I identify, refine, or invent statistical methods to answer these questions.
