Summary
My research focuses on infectious diseases, most notably HIV/AIDS. In an international context, I have taught, consulted, or conducted research on HIV and other infectious diseases in Africa, Eastern Europe, the Carribean, and Asia. Currently, my work focuses on a community support intervention for people living with HIV in Ethiopia. In Minnesota, I am the clinical director for the Minnesota site of the Midwest AIDS Training and Education Center (MATEC), which works to educate and train health care professionals.
