Alexander McBean, MD

I have worked as an infectious disease epidemiologist at the CDC in the United States and Africa. I was health commissioner for the State of Vermont, a faculty member at the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, and chief of the epidemiology branch in the Office of Research at the Health Care Financing Administration. While at SPH, I was director of the Research Data Assistance Center (ResDAC), which provides assistance and offers training workshops to researchers interested in using and accessing Medicare and Medicaid data.
